Maneli Jamal

An award winning solo acoustic guitarist, Maneli Jamal offers a new perspective on acoustic guitar with both eastern and western influences. Combining folk, Flamenco, and Persian modes with his own percussive technique, Maneli has created a rich and unique sound on the guitar.
Having lived in four different countries and moved twenty times by the time he was eighteen, Maneli has let his experiences around the world influence the way he speaks with the guitar.
Maneli won first place in the online YouTube acoustic guitar competition for Taylor Guitars, Faith Guitars and reached the finals for Guitar Idol 2009. He has released his debut album featuring his original compositions.
Maneli Jamal will perform a solo acoustic guitar set in Tirgan 2011.
