Minou Akhlaghi

Minou began her training in dance with Sashar Zarif Dance Theatre in 1994. Since then, she has performed in numerous cultural and artistic events in Canada and Europe. She has taught dance to adults and worked with children in Toronto. In Tirgan 2011, Minou will hold dance workshops (in English) for children where children of ages between six and twelve years will learn basic movements, use of props (dayereh), and sequence of phrases. They will then present a short performance for parents and audience.
